Actress Cameron Diaz was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Monday.
Cameron’s Vanilla Sky co-star Tom Cruise and his wife Katie Holmes attended the event — alongside members of the actress’ family — in front the Egyptian Theater on Hollywood Boulevard this afternoon.
The former model — who counts comedy smashes Shrek and There’s Something About Mary and action flicks Charlie’s Angels 1 & 2 as part of her filmography — currently stars in the dramatic film, My Sister’s Keeper, hitting theaters June 26.

Cling Thing Cameron Diaz can’t hold on to a boyfriend because she becomes too emotionally attached, The National Enquirer claims.The 36-year-old actress’ latest romance with Maroon 5 lead frontman Adam Levine is reportedly headed for disaster after she began frantically calling and texting Adam after just a few weeks of dating.
“It’s how she is with every man. When Cameron likes someone, she smothers him,” a source says of the actress, who recently split from British model Paul Sculfor. “She and Adam have only had a few dates, but she’s constantly calling him and texting him.”
Cameron reportedly introduced Adam to her mom after they’d been dating for only a week.
The insider adds that the rocker — previously romantically linked to Jessica Simpson, Paris Hilton, and Kirsten Dunst — is “not in it for the long term.” “He’s already feeling like it’s too much,” the source says.
