“1…2…3 days until the premiere of my new video but don’t stress, I will be sending out lots of pics and clips for the next 3 days,” she wrote on her official site Wednesday.
Britney Spears‘ latest single has topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart, and as a momento of her gratitude to fans, The Britster has released the first flicks from the upcoming video for the raunchy hit song, “3.”
“I want to thank my fans for making ‘3′ the # 1 song on the Billboard Hot 100,” Britney wrote on BritneySpears.com Wednesday. “I am truly blessed with the greatest fans in the world and I am so happy y’all love it because I do this all for you. I can’t wait till you see the video.”

According to Billboard.com, Britney is the first artist in more than three years to debut in the top spot on the Billboard chart. In fact, the last single to earn the distinction was Taylor Hicks’ “Do I Make You Proud” back in July 2006.
The last time a single from a non-American Idol singer debuted at No. 1 was 1998, when Lauryn Hill took the top spot for “Doo Wop (That Thing). The song is the third Britney recording to top the Billboard Hot 100 –her 1999 debut “…Baby One More Time” and last year’s hit “Womanizer” also sailed to the top of the charts.
Britney Spears is going “Down Under” next month, and the pop star has asked her entourage to undergo regular drug and alcohol tests before they hit the continent.

Britney Spears has received an apology from More Magazine after the British publication ran a phony “exclusive one-on-one interview” with the singer compiled from quotes the popstar issued publicly over the past year.
“More would like to apologize to our readers and to Britney Spears for having wrongly described the Q&A with Ms Spears we published in our June 8, 2009 issue as an ‘exclusive’,” a rep for the magazine said in a statement Wednesday.
“The article was brought to More by a freelance contributor, Jan Janssen. We now understand that Ms Spears’ quotes were given to the press generally and not exclusively to Jan Janssen,” the statement continued. “The article was not a More exclusive as we had been led to believe, nor was it authorized by Ms Spears. We apologise to Ms Spears for any distress and damage caused.”
Britney Spears is getting ready to release her new greatest hits compilation, The Singles Collection, on November 24! Jive Records is releasing the album to celebrate the 10th anniversary of her debut on the music scene. Britney, now 27, has had five albums debut No. 1 on the Billboard Top 100, and 23 Top 40 hits. The compilation will include 29 of the hottest singles of the pop princess’ decade-long career, as well a the new track “3,” which premiered on Z100’s “Elvis Duran & The Morning Show” on Tuesday!
The upbeat pop track was produced and co-written by longtime producer Max Martin (“…Baby One More Time,” “If U Seek Amy”) and is well on its way to burning up the dance charts.

The Circus Starring Britney Spears closed out seven months of performances with a surprise lap dance for former boy bander Lance Bass in Las Vegas Sunday night.
During Brit’s 90-minute pop extravaganza at Mandalay Bay, the *NSYNC star Lance Bass brought on stage for a lap dance from his pop star pal. “My good friend Lance surprised me on stage last night for ‘Breathe On Me.’” Britney wrote in a blog post on her website Monday. “It was soooo funny! Good to see you Lance!”
