Britney Spears has Los Angeles’ City Attorney in relation to her August 2007 hit and run. Brit’s attorney Michael Flanagan tells Page Six that the offer she turned down was to plead guilty to the licence misdemeanour, meaning “no probation, contingent on her paying the maximum fine of $3000.” Britney is rejecting the plea because she believes “they (the authorities) are attempting to treat her differently than they would any other person who did not have a valid licence at the time.”
Justin Timberlake is using Britney Spears’ fragile emotional state as an excuse to postpone an engagement to his girlfriend Jessica Biel. Justin Timberlake/Jessica Biel nuptials would drive Britney Spears off the edge, the SexyBack singer claims.
“I have a heart…I can’t do this to Britney right now,” Justin has said according to a report in The National Enquirer. “We simply can’t get engaged-I don’t want to do anything to cause Britney further pain right now.”
Rumored to have multiple personalities, Britney Spears recently made a 180 degree turn, kicking a group of invited photogs out of her home in a fit of rage, last Saturday night. “One person walked into that bedroom, someone else walked out,” one of the photographers tells OK!. “It was scary.”

Britney Spears will release the T-Pain-produced track “Hot As Ice” as the third single from her 2007 album, Blackout. Brit visited the Millenium Dance Studio on Sunday night to prepare the choreography for the upcoming videoshoot. Robert Baker, who owns the dance complex, has confirmed the news:
“She is working on the choreography for her song ‘Hot as Ice. She rehearsed an amazing routine with a chair.”
