Veteran news woman Barbara Walters announced on today’s episode of The View that she’s spoken to Britney Spears’ friend and manager Sam Lufti. and he’s revealed that the troubled pop star is seeking help for what he told Babs were “mental issues which are treatable.” Whoopi took this as an opportunity for “joke time.”
As previously reported, Blender Magazine will feature a Britney Spears expose in it’s upcoming March 2008 issue. The music mag has decided to this use a composite photo of the pop star for the issue’s cover, althought it does not feature her body.

Adnan Ghalib is shopping six YouTube-style home videos of Britney Spears going postal, according to tabloid reports. The asking price for the footage, which features the pop star struggling to get dressed, is $2 million. “It’s like something out of a horror movie. Britney spends the whole time ranting, raving and weeping. It’s not entertainment,” a spywitness reveals to NOTW. “Adnan is just determined to wring as much out of Britney as possible before their relationship burns out. But these videos are a step too far.
