OMG — Spencer Pratt has an idol other than himself?!

In his new book, How To Be Famous, the reality TV villain reveals that he looks up to Oscar-nominated actor Brad Pitt, noting that he is particularly impressed with how Pitt handled his split with ex-wife Jennifer Aniston in 2005.

“There literally is not another situation in the history of Hollywood where a man left a woman as beloved as Jennifer Aniston for someone like Angelina Jolie (a home-wrecking head case) and still ended up the good guy,” Spencer, 26, writes. “We salute you, Mr. Pitt!”

The Hills’ resident canker sore is a role Spencer plays well — and he wouldn’t have it any other way.

“If I weren’t me, I’d hate me,” Spencer adds. “When you’re the villain, you don’t have to worry about how your enemy feels.”

How To Be Famous is expected to hit bookshelves this November.

UPDATE: A rep for Pitt says the actor has not joined the cast of Sherlock Holmes.

Brad Pitt has been cast as the villain Moriarty in Guy Ritchie’s Sherlock Holmes.

Ever since Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie adopted New Orleans as their new hometown a few years ago, many New Orleans residents have been calling for the Inglourious Basterds star to run for the city’s highest office.

On Thursday, Brad will respond to reports of his political agenda in an interview The TODAY Show’s Ann Curry (”Good Morning,” “Good Morning”).

Megan Fox loves to lavish on-again/off-again boyfriend Brian Austin Green with expensive gifts — when she’s not yo-yoing on whether or not to accept his marriage proposal.

Brad Pitt has once again defended his and partner Angeline Jolie’s decision not to get married, despite their six children; Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Vivienne, and Knox; explaining that their decision stems from their belief that all people should equal access to the institution of marriage.

“I believe everyone should have the same rights. They say gay marriage ruins families and hurts kids. Well, I’ve had the privilege of seeing my gay friends being parents and watching their kids grow up in a loving environment,” the Inglorious Basterds star said in a new interview with Parade Magazine’s Sunday, August 9 edition. Oscar-nominated star Brad Pitt has revealed that he may retire soon after devoting nearly 20 years to acting.

The 45-year-old father of six feels he has “had his time” with acting and believes he should leave the industry for the younger generation of actors.

He says: “I think acting is a younger man’s game; there are fewer interesting parts for older people and we all get older.”

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are at odds over where they should be buried, according to a report in Britain’s The Mail On Sunday.

Brad, 45, has angered the actress by refusing to make formal arrangements for their afterlife.

A source revealed: “Angelina initially wanted to be buried beside her ex-husband Billy Bob [Thornton]. She bought his and hers cemetery plots in Louisiana but since then she’s changed her will. She’s been trying to persuade Brad to make a decision on where they should be buried but he thinks the whole thing is morbid.”

He was raised Southern Baptist, but apparently that didn’t stick so well…

In a quick new interview with BILD Magazine, Inglourious Basterds star Brad Pitt chatted about sex with “wife” Angelina (”It’s very important for every relationship.”); wealth (“It makes everything easier, but money can also be a burden.“); and his most prized possessions (”My family – and yes a couple of my motorbikes.“), but then he said this:

BILD: Do you believe in God?
Brad Pitt (smiling): “No, no, no!”

BILD: Is your soul spiritual?
Brad Pitt: “No, no, no! I’m probably 20 per cent atheist and 80 per cent agnostic. I don’t think anyone really knows. You’ll either find out or not when you get there, until then there’s no point thinking about it.

At the request of the Benjamin Button star, screenwriter Simon Kinberg is reportedly working on a script for Mr. & Mrs. Smith 2, which will feature the on-screen assasins tackling parenthood.
