Brad Pitt released a statement calling his partner, Angelina Jolie, heroic.
Angelina confirmed to the NY Times this morning that she underwent a double-mastectomy as a preventative action for a breast cancer gene that she has. Jolie’s mother died from breast cancer and Jolie has been diangosed with BRCA1. Mutations of this gene could lead to higher risks of cancer.
