Well….if Brad Paisley was looking to push some buttons with his new album, Wheelhouse…it appears that he is already succeeding.
Brad, who partnered up with rapper turned television star, LL Cool J, for a new tune on his new alum, Brad new the song would cause some controversy. “At this point, after all these albums and all these hits, I have no interest in phoning it in, and I think that [the song] comes from an honest place in both cases, and that’s why it’s on there and why I’m so proud of it. This isn’t a stunt. This isn’t something that I just came up with just to be sort of shocking or anything like that. Brad Paisley and NCIS star, LL Cool J, are set to collaborate on Paisley’s new album, Wheelhouse.
Paisley tweeted this photo yesterday with LL Cool J and producer Jailyen Wesley. Brad confirmed that his new album, the first that he has produced by himself, will feature several special guests including, LL, fellow country star, Dierks Bentley, Charlie Daniels, new-comer Hunter Hayes and Mat Kearney. Country music superstar and all-around good guy, Brad Paisley and his beautiful wife, Kimberly Williams-Paisley, are lending their support to a new charity. The pair announced that they will be partnering with Dr. David and Laurie Vanderpool, who bring clean drinking water to people around the world.
Brad and Kim will be focusing their efforts in Haiti, a nation that is still struggling to rebuild after the deadly earthquake, 2 years ago.
