Snooki Writing A Book! “Jersey Shore” Star Penning Novel “A Shore Thing”

The latest sign of the Apocalypse: Jersey Shore reality personality Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi is putting down her flask and picking up a pen to write her first novel!

On Wednesday, Gallery Books — a division of Simon & Schuster — announced that it has inked a publishing deal with the Jack & Coke-soaked barfly for the rights to a work of Adult Fiction tentatively titled A Shore Thing!

Shouldn’t Simon & Schuster reserve their book deals for — Oh, we don’t know…. – people who actually read?! (And last month’s edition of Cosmo doesn’t count, Snooki….)

“Bling Ring” Convict Alexis Neiers Writing Tell-All Book

Burglar-To-The-Stars, Alexis Neiers, the E! reality star who served one month in jail on a felony charge for burglarizing Orlando Bloom’s home, is reportedly shopping a tell-all book about her exploits on the Tinseltown party scene to publishers.

“Think Gossip Girl goes to Hollywood,” a source tells TMZ.

Neiers was a member of the reputed “Bling Ring,” a crew made up of most middle-class teen burglars who broke into the Hollywood estates of a host of celebs — including Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton, and Rachel Bilson — in the Summer of 2009.

Jaycee Dugard Memoir

Jaycee Dugard, the California woman who was kidnapped at age 11 and held captive for 18 years in a squalid tent village in the backyard of a sexual predator before being rescued in 2009, will tell her harrowing tale of survival and reflect on her mental health in the year since she was freed in a new memoir, publisher Simon & Schuster said on Monday.
