Famed shutterbug Annie Leibovitz photographed U2 frontman Bono and his wife, Ali Hewson –- founders of the ethical fashion line Edun –- for the latest Louis Vuitton Core Values advertising campaign.

U2 frontman Bono has been released from Ludwig Maximilians-University Hospital in Munich after doctors say the rocker experienced temporary paralysis brought on by the onset of a sudden illness. The band has cancelled their headlining slot at Britain’s 40th anniversary Glastonbury Music Festival this weekend after the singer was told to rest for at least two months following emergency surgery on his back last Friday.
Bono — an devoted humanitarian — is devastated to have to “let down” his British fans.
In a statement on the band’s website, Bono said: “I’m heartbroken. We really wanted to be there to do something really special – we even wrote a song especially for the festival….”
U2 has also been forced to postpone 16 shows on the North American leg of their forthcoming U2360 Tour.

Bono’s got back trouble. According to his rep, the U2 frontman underwent emergency surgery on his back in a Munich hospital Friday after injuring himself during rehearsals for the next leg of the band’s world tour.
Bono’s a fussy eater. The rock icon and humanitarian is getting a reputation for being a bit of a diva, especially after his dining demands were revealed last week. Bono amazed fellow diners at the popular Manhattan eatery last Tuesday night when he made a string of odd requests to restaurant staff at New York hotspot Butter.
“He demanded that his salad be chopped. And he made sure it was when it arrived,” said a source. The U2 frontman sent staff into overdrive after demanding a specific type of bottled water not usually stocked at the restaurant. “He wanted Perrier, which they didn’t have, so a waiter actually ran across the street to a store and bought him a bottle,” added the snitch who was dining at the next table.
