Saturday Night Live rings in the holiday season with three new shows, beginning December 5.

Gossip Girl’s Blake Lively and Rihanna will both appearing “Live From New York” for the first time next weekend. Twilight star Taylor Lautner will make his hosting debut Dec. 12, with musical guest the Grammy Award-winning band Bon Jovi. James Franco returns to SNL to host for the second time with musical guest Muse on Dec. 19

Blake Lively is just a big ole llama. The Gossip Girl actress was left horrified when a photographer told her she resembled the hairy, humped creature at the launch of luxury hotel W Fort Lauderdale in Florida last Friday.
The 21-year-old blonde was strutting down the red carpet in a slinky white gown and towering black heels when a paparazzo screamed at her to attract her attention.

“He was shouting, ‘You look beautiful, like a llama!’ He meant to say gazelle, because she looked so leggy slim. Blake looked so confused!” says an informant.

Spies later overheard Blake asking her co-star and boyfriend Penn Badgley what the photographer was trying to say.

“She was saying, ‘A llama? What does that even mean?’ Then she started doing an impression of one, hunching over and making funny noises while Penn laughed.”

“I feel like a tranny a lot of the time,” the Gossip Girl star jokes in the May issue of Allure, on newsstands April 21. “I don’t know, I’m … large? They put me in six-inch heels, and I tower over every man. I’ve got this long hair and lots of clothes and makeup on.”

Blake On Coping With Fame: “People will recognize you much more on Fifth Avenue. It’s strange that you’ll be somewhere for five minutes, and then all of a sudden there are paparazzi outside.”

Blake On Her Romance With G.G. Co-Star Penn Badgley: “You see people who will open up their relationships, who are very affectionate on the red carpet or are doing a reality show with each other, and their relationship just seems to crumble. So I decided to keep a vow of silence.”

Gossip Girl’s Blake Lively appears on the Late Show with David Letterman on Tues., March 24.

“Julia Roberts called me this weekend and she wanted to know if we could take you away to a Polygamist community and marry you,” Blake told the newlywed Letterman. “But I heard that somebody snatched you up. So — the offer is open…”

Dave jokingly responded: “I’ll tell you something off the record, we’re not getting along. There is talk of a legal separation. I’ll be outside on the curb.”

Breakout starlets Blake Lively and Leighton Meester put feud rumors–over Twizzlers and ice cream—during a sapphic photoshoot for the April issue of Rolling Stone Magazine.

Leighton Meester, who plays bitchy Uptown Girl Blair Waldorf, is adamant that she and alleged rival Blake Lively, Serena van der Woodsen on the series, are “very close” friends.

Live from the LOL Files: Blake Lively says Gossip Girl is holding her back from further pursuing her film career.

(Of course, because The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants was such a blockbuster.)

Blake Lively says Gossip Girl has prevented her from launching serious career in film because of it’s demanding shooting schedule. The blonde beauty, who plays Serena on the popular CW drama, insists that she’s so busy with the tapings for the hit series that she can’t accept any movie offers coming her way.

“We shoot nine months out of the year, so there are so many films I can’t do,” Blake explains. “On my latest movie I would go and take a day off from Gossip Girl in New York and go to Connecticut and shoot that and then come back the next day. And they don’t really like to share you.”

Katherine Heigl Jr. here needs to be grateful to have a job; millions of Americans are unemployed. Is it Gossip Girl that’s holding Blake back, or a lack of talent? Be happy you have steady work and STFU!

Blake Lively, who has carved out her place as a modern day “It Girl” thanks to her work on The CW series Gossip Girl, is gracing the December 2008 cover of W Magazine.

In the interview,on newsstands November 25, the 21-year-old star gets candid about her off-screen romance with Gossip Girl’s on-screen misfit, Penn Badgley, and rumors of a “feud” between her co-star Leighton Meester.

“The media is always trying to pit us against each other,” Blake says. “I guess because it’s just not interesting to say, ‘Everyone gets along, everybody just works 18-hour days and goes home to sleep.’ That’s not fun to read I guess.”

Blake Lively plays Head (Bleep) in Charge on The CW Network’s primetime soap Gossip Girl but set spies tell Star Magazine life is beginning to imitate art, much to the chagrin of the show’s crew.

The 21-year-old is “the most catered to on the set” of the show and has become prone to throwing childish tantrums when things don’t go her way, snitches say.

“She the only one who has someone call her every morning to wake her up for work. She’s already had two production assistants fired because she didn’t like them.”

According to Star, Blake went postal on the Gossip Girl costume department because co-star Leighton Meester, with whom the actress has a history of bad blood, has been given more exciting storylines playing “Blair” than Blake has as “Serena.”

“She kept whining, ‘How come Blair gets to have all the fun parties?’”

“Blake gets enough camera time already. It’s absurd that she wants more,” the tabloid insider adds.

Even Blake’s romance with fellow G.G star Penn Badgley is creating controversy on the set.

“They never leave each other’s side. There will be times when they’re needed on the set, but one won’t show up until the other is ready. It annoys the crew…”

Gossip Girl stars Penn Badgley and Blake Lively have publicly endorsed Barack Obama’s campaign for President.

The young lovers are just a pair of young people featured in a new public service announcement encouraging teens to “Talk To Their Parents About The Dangers of Voting Republican.”
