Halftime Headliners The Black Eyed Peas Hosting Sports Illustrated Super Bowl Party

The Black Eyed Peas will headline the Bridgestone Halftime Show as the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Green Bay Packers faceoff in Super Bowl XLV, live from Cowboys Stadium in Dallas, on Feb. 6. But the band is also set to be front and center for a weekend of partying in the heart of Texas. On Thursday, The Peas released a new promo for the Sports Illustrated Super Bowl Bash that they’ll be hosting on the evening of Friday, Feb. 4.

George Clinton Black Eyed Peas Copyright Infringement Lawsuit

Parliament funk pioneer George Clinton is suing hip-pop group the Black Eyed Peas for copyright infringement after the band allegedly twice sampled his 1979 hit “(Not Just) Knee Deep” — first for a 2003 single and again on their Grammy-nominated 2009 comeback album, The E.N.D..

Black Eyed Peas Super Bowl Halftime Performance 2011

The Black Eyed Peas will serve as the halftime entertainment at next winter’s 2011 Super Bowl.

The NFL made the announcement during the Thanksgiving Day matchup between the New Orleans Saints and the Dallas Cowboys.

“TODAY” Covers Black Eyed Peas’ “I Got A Feeling” [VIDEO]

On Friday, the cast of NBC’s The TODAY Show wrapped up its weeklong “TODAY Goes Viral” series by creating their own version of the Black Eyed Peas’ 2009 hit “I Got a Feeling,” with a little help from almost every member of the 150- member TODAY staff, former First Daughter Jenna Bush-Hager, and NBC Nightly News anchor Brian Williams! The video — shot in a single take — was inspired by a cover performed by a group of students University of Quebec college. That vid went viral earlier this year and has since been viewed more than 7 million times on YouTube.
