Black Eyed Peas manager Liborio Molina has apologized for punching gossip blogger Perez Hilton, but the camps haven’t exactly kissed and made up just yet.
An assault charge against Molina was dropped Wednesday after the manager issued a written apology to Hilton. Molina allegedly punched Hilton — whose real name is Mario Lavandeira — from behind outside a Toronto nightclub outside a Toronto nightclub following the MuchMusic Video Awards in June. Fists started flying after the openly gay blogger referred to Black Eyed Peas’ leader will.i.am as a slur for homosexuals. The Black Eyed Peas, Maxwell, and Sugarland are the first performers announced for “The Grammy Nominations Concert Live!! — Countdown To Music’s Biggest Night,” The Associated Press has learned.
The special marks the second time nominations for music’s biggest night will be announced live on primetime TV. NCIS star LL Cool J will return as host of the one-hour special, which take place Dec. 2, at Club NOKIA in Los Angeles and will air on CBS @ 9 PM EST.
The 52nd Annual Grammy Awards will air live from The Staples Center on Jan. 31, 2010, on CBS.

Officials in Malaysia have banned Muslims from attending an upcoming Black Eyed Peas concert in the country — because the show is sponsored by a beer company.
The Peas hitmakers are due to perform at a theme park in Kuala Lumpur as part of Irish draft giant Guinness’ 250th anniversary concert next month, but local officials have prohibited Muslims from attending because concertgoers will be drinking.
“Muslims cannot attend. Non-Muslims can go and have fun,” an official at the Ministry of Information, Communication and Culture said in a statement Thursday. “The party is only open to non-Muslims aged 18 years and above.”

In case you live under a boulder, the web’s No.1 shit starter has fingered Black Eyed Peas manager Polo Molina in the assault that left him with a black eye and a bloody nose.
In an interview with the website The Gossip Kid on Monday, singer Kelly Clarkson said that while she does not condone violence, Perez had it coming. Kelly noted that since blogger is not even nice to young celebrities, like Disney’s Miley Cyrus, or the children of celebs, no one is going to shed any tears for him.
“You’re mean to children! No one’s going to pity you,” Kelly joked.
“I do not think violence is the answer, but what do you expect? I’m surprised it hasn’t happened already,” the original American Idol laughed. “I’m thinking how much did will.i.am pay his manager to do that?”
