Officials in Malaysia have banned Muslims from attending an upcoming Black Eyed Peas concert in the country — because the show is sponsored by a beer company.
The Peas hitmakers are due to perform at a theme park in Kuala Lumpur as part of Irish draft giant Guinness’ 250th anniversary concert next month, but local officials have prohibited Muslims from attending because concertgoers will be drinking.
“Muslims cannot attend. Non-Muslims can go and have fun,” an official at the Ministry of Information, Communication and Culture said in a statement Thursday. “The party is only open to non-Muslims aged 18 years and above.”

In an interview with the website The Gossip Kid on Monday, singer Kelly Clarkson said that while she does not condone violence, Perez had it coming. Kelly noted that since blogger is not even nice to young celebrities, like Disney’s Miley Cyrus, or the children of celebs, no one is going to shed any tears for him.
“You’re mean to children! No one’s going to pity you,” Kelly joked.
“I do not think violence is the answer, but what do you expect? I’m surprised it hasn’t happened already,” the original American Idol laughed. “I’m thinking how much did will.i.am pay his manager to do that?”
