Two of the biggest pop divas in music today are joining forces. Former VMA rivals Beyonce and Lady Gaga are going half on an upcoming music video that will accompany Bey’s new single, “Video Phone,” industry tattles snitch. “On Oct. 7, Lady Gaga and Beyoncé were working on the video together at a studio in NYC,” a spywitness reveals in the October 26 issue of Life & Style. “Everything on the set was being kept very hush-hush, and security was extremely tight.”
The girls — both known for their elaborate costumes and action-packed stage shows — and the video promises plenty of that, sources say: “In the video, Beyoncé wears a feathered dress. And of course Lady Gaga wears something wild. The fashion is sick and insane.”
Papa Knowles Was A Rolling Stone…A Los Angeles woman has filed a paternity suit against music mogul Mathew Knowles, father of R&B superstar Beyonce Knowles-Carter and singer Solange Knowles.
According to a scoop from TMZ.com, Alexsandra Wright, who is in her late 30s and six months pregnant, filed a petition for child support in Los Angeles Superior Court last week, claiming Mathew is the father of her unborn child. The expectant mother is represented by attorney Neal Hersh.
Mathew and wife Tina Knowles have been married since 1980.
Beyonce was honored with a “Woman of the Year” prize at Billboard Magazine’s annual Women In Music Luncheon at The Pierre Hotel in New York City on Friday.
The “Sasha Fierce” star — best known for her smash singles “Woman Like Me,” “Deja Vu,” and “Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)” — was accompanied to today’s ceremony by her parents, Mathew and Tina Knowles, and former Destiny’s Child bandmate Michelle Williams.
“I am the luckiest woman in the world,” the platinum-selling singer said as she accepted her award. Pop sensation Lady Gaga was honored as Billboard’s “Rising Star of the Year” at today’s event.
An organization of Muslim students has urged authorities to ban Beyonce’s upcoming concert in the nation, because they doubt the R&B songbird will adhere to the country’s strict dress code.
The National Union of Malaysian Islamic Students (PKPIM) is disappointed over the support led out to Oct 25 gig by some parties in the conservative nation.
“We doubt whether she will obey the 15.2 and 15.3 codes set by the Malaysian Communication and Multimedia Commission while performing,” says group secretary Khairul Anuar Musa.
Beyonce Knowles has been accused of behaving like a Melrose Place Superdiva after reportedly tossing Lindsay Lohan out of her dressing room at the F1 rocks concert in Singapore over the weekend.
Knowles joined the Black Eyed Peas at the three-day concert event celebrating the Singapore Grand Prix, and had ordered her entourage to get her the largest dressing area backstage. However, Lindsay, who was hosting the event for a British TV network, had already claimed the room for herself. A battle ensued between the two stars, and La Lohan actress was later told she’d have to vacate.
This incident has infuriated Lindsay, who told Britain’s Daily Mirror: “It was a strange night. Everyone was being aggressive and bothering me. I really didn’t like it.”
Beyonce is being eyed for the lead role in Warner Bros’s remake of A Star Is Born, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.
The studio has enlisted Will Fetters to write the script for the film about an up-and-coming starlet who becomes romantically involved with a well-known male star as their careers go in differing directions.

Preppy retail giant Abercrombie & Fitch (A&F) and R&B songstress Beyonce may be heading to court in a trademark dispute over the star’s new perfume.
A&F filed a complaint in the U.S. District Court in Columbus, Ohio, on Wednesday to stop the platinum-selling singer from launching a perfume under the name of her sultry alter ego, Sasha Fierce, Women’s Wear Daily reported Wednesday.
Beyoncé filed an application with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office in September 2008 for Sasha Fierce, but A&F says they began selling Fierce in 2002 and trademarked the fragrance in 2003.
