Rob Estes will be joining the cast of The CW’s 90120. The one-time Melrose Place star is stepping into the role of Harry Mills, husband to Lori Loughlin’s character, Celia Mills. Harry signs on as the principal of West Beverly High, his alma mater, after he moves his family from Kansas back to Beverly Hills to take care of his aging alcoholic mother, Tabitha, played by actress Jessica Walter.
We got our first look at the crop of entertainers heading up The CW’s 90210 spinoff as the network announced it’s Fall schedule on Tuesday. (Can we get an official title for this thing already?!) The new cast includes Dustin Milligan, Anna Lynne McCord, Jessica Walter, Shenae Grimes, Tristan Wilds, Lori Loughlin, Ryan Eggold, Jessica Stroup, Michael Steger, and original Beverly Hills, 90210 star Jennie Garth, who will reprise her role as Kelly Taylor, now a guidance counselor at West Beverly Hills High.
A few fans of the 90s-era television hit Beverly Hills, 90210 have launched an online petition to bring she devil Shannen Doherty back to West Beverly Hills High. Shannen, who portrayed sassy brunette Brenda Walsh on the original series, was booted from television’s most popular zip code in 1994 after flying into Full Bitch Mode on several of her co-stars. If fans get their way, the Breaking Up with Shannen Doherty star could land herself a role The CW’s new 90210 revival, debuting on the network this Fall.
