“If Gossip Girl is about youth in New York, I want to make ‘90210′ about youth in L.A. and Beverly Hills,” producer Rebecca Rad Kishner Sinclair recently remarked.

“‘90210′ is out to compete with ‘Gossip Girl,’ so young hotties AnnaLynne McCord, Shenae Grimes, Jessica Stroup, and Jessica Lowndes and a host of male eye candy will rule the day,” a source reveals in the Sept. 7 issue of The Enquirer.

“Veteran stars Rob Estes and Lori Loughlin have had their camera time drastically cut, and Jennie Garth won’t reappear until the third episode.”

Rumer Willis will guest star on at least one episode of The CW’s teen series Beverly Hills, 90210, a rep for the network confirmed to Access Hollywood on Thursday.

Demi Moore and Bruce Willis’ eldest daughter has signed on to tackle the role of Gia, a “punky cute lesbian” and diligent worker for the student paper at West Beverly Hills High.

Look for Rumer to head to television’s most famous zip code when 90210 returns to The CW this fall.

Television’s Dylan McKay is set to join Jennie Garth, Shannen Doherty, and Tori Spelling as former 90210 originals who have reprised their roles on The CW’s revival of the ’90s hit.Although he originally turned down an offer to appear on the spinoff of Beverly Hills, 90210, Luke Perry is the latest original castmember who has signed up for a guest appearance on the show.

A source tells Star Magazine: “They wanted to spread out the guest appearances. That’s why Tori appeared well after the show’s premiere, and now Luke will most likely be next.”

Kate Hudson has reportedly agreed to make a rare television guest appearance on The CW’s teen drama Beverly Hills, 90210.

In Touch informants claim the You, Me, and Dupree star has signed on for as a personal favor to her good friend, actress Sara Foster, who recently joined the cast as Jen, the older sister of AnnaLynne McCord’s character, Naomi.

“Kate’s a movie star and doesn’t usually do TV shows. But she and Sara are pals and have always wanted to work together, so Kate said she’d do it.”

Shannen Doherty will reprise her role as “Brenda Walsh” on at least one more episode of The CW’s revamped 90210 this season, reps for the teen hit confirmed to Entertainment Weekly on Wednesday.

With fellow original 90210 star Tori Spelling heading back to the show as well, fans could get a chance to see Shannen, Tori, and Jennie Garth have the chance to reunite on screen.

On Monday, Tori Spelling, now 35, was photographed filming a scene on the streets Los Angeles with co-star Jennie Garth as she reprises her role as “Donna Martin” for an upcoming episode on the new Beverly Hills, 90210.

The mother of two first landed the role on her father Aaron Spelling’s original TV show back in 1990.
