Maggie Gyllenhaal and Aaron Eckhart, stars of the eagerly-awaited new Batman thriller, The Dark Knight, were featured guests on The Today Show on Wednesday. The performers joined Today host Matt Lauer in a discussion about the film, which is sure to be one of the biggest blockbusters of the Summer.

Earlier we asked how many of you were planning to head out to see The Dark Knight this weekend. Perhaps a better question would have been who isn’t scrambling to see this Summer’s most anticipated superhero thriller? Tickets are going fast. The eagerly-anticipated sequel to 2005’s Batman Begins, opening this Friday, has already sold out 700 shows in North America, according to MovieTickets.com.
