Ashley Dupre, the high-priced “prostitution whore” who took down “Luv Gov” Eliot Spitzer, traded in her hooker boots for high fashion and strutted her stuff on the catwalk during a green fashion show at New York Spring Fashion Week 2010 on Tuesday.

Dupre, now 23, hit the runway during the Bahar Shahpar fashion show in a high-waisted gray skirt with matching top and electric blue heels as part of the GreenShows, Ecouterre.com reports.

The former escort — a native Jersey Girl — has been recording music, trying to get a record deal, and working on a book since the 2008 sex scandal shot her to infamy.

“I didn’t ask for it, but now that I have it, it’s up to me to take advantage of this platform and do something amazing. I have a voice now,” she told The New York Post on Monday.

Reality starring sisters Dina and Caroline Manzo have slammed Gov. Eliot Spitzer’s former prossie’s claim that Jersey housewives are strung out on meds and no better than prostitutes in a lengthy rant on Russell Simmons’ Global Grind Blog on Wednesday.

“It’s just unfortunate that she’s using this to get her name and face out like that,” Manzo tells The New York Post. “She’s entitled to her voice, like we all are, but nobody should have to listen to her.”

While Dupre was not talking specifically about the stars of Bravo’s reality hit, The Manzos From The Mean Streets of Franklin Lakes took her remarks as a mass insult all married Jersey women.

Dina “feels bad” for Dupre, but warns her, saying, “She needs to change her way of thinking, otherwise she’s gonna be one of those miserable women.”

“I didn’t know prostitutes were in love with [their johns],” she added.

On Wednesday, Dupre, 23, published a rant on hip-hop mogul Russell Simmon’s Global Grind Blog in which she slams women who judge her — like “New Jersey housewives who are strung out on mood stabilizers,” for instance.

The brunette at the center of the sex scandal that prompted Spitzer’s resignation in 2008 is tired of being chastised by women who dare to judge sex workers.

“A kept woman is no different than a high-priced hooker,” Ashley says.

“First, I’m often referred to as the “woman who brought down the Governor” — excuse me people, I didn’t call the tabloids, I didn’t blow the whistle and I didn’t save “the dress.” I did nothing to shine a light on my indiscretions or to ‘out’ anyone else.”

Ashley adds that she’s glad her “Client #9″ is “moving on with his life and considering getting back into politics. Everyone makes mistakes. Everyone deserves a second chance. Me too, right? Well, apparently not. Why? Because many people are liars and hypocrites.”

“Russell was there, reaching out to give me hand placement tips and educate me about the virtues of yoga that he’s discovered throughout the years. He explained the importance of understanding that our actions sometimes have far reaching consequences — a lesson that certainly resonated with me.”

“I’ve gained a perspective on life that I probably never would have been able to achieve if not for all of the heartache. In great part, discovering my identity came through the quiet reflection I enjoyed while practicing yoga, and the inner strength I’ve developed attracts powerful things,” the 23-year-old writes.

In his own blog on Dupre, entitled “Meeting Miss Ashley,” Russell says he was impressed that the brunette bombshell hadn’t used her notoriety to earn a little cash. “She told me that she hadn’t taken a nickel since the scandal broke and the reason was because every deal that had come in front of her involved further destroying her spirit.”
