We heard that manager/stage pop Joe Simpson is hoping the recent passing of pop icon Michael Jackson will help him revive daughter Ashlee Simpson’s fleeting singing career. Joe is reportedly planning a cover album that would feature Ashlee re-recording several songs first made famous by the late King of Pop.
Pete and Ashlee say “yes” to gay marriage. The young couple, who were married just last winter, are now coming out in support of same-sex unions in a campaign for gay rights group NOH8.
In the shots– taken by photographer Adam Bouska on Monday –the couple is featured posing together with “NOH8″ written on their cheeks and duct tape over their mouths; Ashlee is pictured holding a wedding veil.
Adam launched NOH8 with his partner, Jeff Parshley, after the Proposition 8 gay marriage ban passed in California last November.
