Inga Marchand (a.k.a. Foxy Brown) recently pled guilty on two counts of third degree assault for punching, kicking and bruising two manicurists in New York. Apparently this is how Foxy handles situations where she is charged for services she didn’t receive. The salon charged Ms Brown for both a manicure and a pedicure, when in fact she had only received the pedicure. When faced with her bill she took her cellphone and whacked an unsuspecting manicurist on the head, which was only the beginning of her embarrassing physical temper tantrum.
Foxy Brown received three years probation for the assaults as well as being required to attend anger management classes. In addition, the manicurists both received protection orders against the rapper.
Seriously, what’s wrong with these celebrities having so much anger and using cell phones of all things as weapons? I don’t know what to say other than Grow Up!
According to MSN News police announced today that rapper Busta Rhymes has been arrested and charged with assault.
Details at this point are sketchy, but we do know that the arrest occured related to an attack that happened about one week previously.
Busta Rhymes has been in the news for violence a lot lately. In February, one of his bodyguards was shot and killed outside a studio in Brookyln while Busta was making a music video. Then in March, a fan sued Busta after he claimed Busta and a bodyguard beat him after he asked for Busta’s autograph.
Beating a fan who asks for an autograph? That just can’t be good for business. But I’m not going to say that to Busta, of course.

Actress and model Naomi Campbell began court proceedings for assault charges made against her by one of her maids who claims that Campbell hit her with a cellphone. Funny as the idea of an abusive super model is, I’m even more amused by the scene the maid’s claim paints. Campbell didn’t throw a phone as her, but hit her with it.
“Oh, excuse me Bob … *smack* … Fifi, you missed spot! … *returns to her phone conversation* … that sound? It was nothing Bob, just the maid’s nose breaking. Where were we?”
