Anne Hathaway has been offered a role in Spider-Man 4.
The former Disney star, who earned an Oscar nod for her role in the 2008 film Rachel Getting Married, is the latest actress rumored to be up for the role of vampy villain Black Cat in the hotly-anticipated fourth Spider-Man; Julia Stiles, Rachel McAdams and Romola Garai have all been linked to the project in recent weeks.
According to Deadline Hollywood, Anne has been approached by producers to appear in the latest installment in the superhero saga, opening in May 2011.
Proving that no good deed goes unpunished, Anne Hathaway ended up on the receiving end of a razor-edged rant when she offered a bag of leftovers to a disheveled old woman sitting on a bus bench.
