SNL alum Amy Poehler will reunite with her former Weekend Update co-anchor Seth Meyers for the first two editions of the half-hour Saturday Night Live: Weekend Update Thursday at 8PM on September 17 and September 24.
The episodes will lead into the first two episodes of the second season of Poehler’s NBC comedy, Parks and Recreation, which airs at 8:30PM.

“It’s about local government people who have a project and are trying to fix things up — and the problems they run into,” executive producer Greg Daniels says.
At 8:30 PM on April 9, the former Saturday Night Live star will debut her new NBC comedy, Public Service. The new series was originally slated to debut after the Super Bowl, will feature Amy as a mid-level local government official.
