The Emmy-nominated comedienne cut her comedic teeth as a star on the long-running sketch series before fronting NBC’s Parks & Recreation, now in its third season. The 36th season premiere show will mark Amy’s first time hosting and also Katy’s debut in Studio 8H. SNL is also adding four new castmembers in the wake of the departure of MacGruber star Will Forte: Taran Killam, Paul Brittain, Vanessa Bayer, and Jay Pharoah.
