It’s a done deal: Controversial shock jock Howard Stern has inked a deal to appear as a judge on the next season of America’s Got Talent.
The radio bad boy made the announcement on his Sirius XM Radio show on Thursday.
“America’s Got Talent” judge Piers Morgan announced he was leaving the show just yesterday — and the Wall Street Journal reports the program is already in negotiations with a pretty familiar face to replace him.

On Wednesday, the former tabloid reporter announced that he is stepping down from his post as a judge on NBC’s America’s Got Talent, ending a six season reign. Morgan, who stuck around as Regis Philbin, Jerry Springer, Brandy, and David Hasselhoff, all came and went, had been the only original judge still with the show.
