What did international recording artist Pink think of this week’s American Idol season finale?
Apparently not much…
Although Pink — who is on tour in Australia — wasn’t in attendance at Wednesday night’s big show, this season’s Top 13 took to the stage and performed a group number to her single “So What” Unfortunately, the Grammy winner was less than thrilled to hear that the hit song was belted out by newcomers on the FOX talent competition.
In fact, Pink feels the word “butchered” best described the performance.
“i heard it thru the grapevine that someone butchered my song last night on tv…. does that mean ive ‘made it?’ lol.” Pink wrote on her Twitter page on Thursday.

At least one person was less than impressed with Kara DioGuardi’s bikini body reveal on Wednesday night’s season finale of American Idol. “Bikini Girl” Katrina Darrell says Idol judge Kara DioGuardi “just made herself look stupid” when she upstaged Katrina’s performance of “Vision of Love” by prancing across stage in two-piece of her own.
In reality, Kara is only 39, but we digress. Check out Katrina’s biting remarks at her longtime rival @ Radar.

Have viewers fallen out of favor with American Idol?
Last night’s two-hour finale last night took a dip in ratings, according to Nielsen estimates. An estimated 28.84 million people tuned for Wednesday night’s win for Kris Allen, that’s the lowest season-ending audience since 2004.
Nonetheless, the eighth season finale of American Idol’s will still be the No. 1 most-watched show of the week.

Kris Allen may have overpowered frontrunner Adam Lambert in the race for the title of American Idol 2009, but now fans can lend their support to both singers by downloading their first single on iTunes.
Both Adam and Kris sang their versions of the Kara DioGuardi co-written song on Tuesday’s show and Kris treated fans to another performance of the song following his victory on Wednesday night’s live finale.
