American Idol producers have gotten themselves into a pickle by making the unprecedented decision to add a 13th contestant to this year’s lineup. In the past, the FOX talent series has used numbers 1-866-IDOLS-01 through 1-866-IDOLS-12 for fans to use when voting for their favorite contestant. But, as TV Guide has learned, the addition of a 13th competitor poses a problem for the long-standing voting system because 1-866-IDOLS-13 is currently the number of a phone sex operation. Carrie Underwood has recorded a remake of Motley Crue’s “Home Sweet Home” to be played as a farewell ballad to each finalist sent home on the eighth season of American Idol, FOX announced on Monday.

She may have gotten the boot from American Idol, but Katrina Darell hasn’t stepped out of the spot-light. Doing what she does best, wearing a bikini, seems to be taking this California girl far.
Katrina first appeared on our radar when she auditioned on American Idol in her bikini, on an episode that aired back in January. As of February 4th, Darrell’s smoking hot body was no longer enough to carry her in the “singing” competition. Oh well. Her bikini body is more than enough to earn her a little internet lime-light.
