At 15, Lindsay Lohan’s little sister has the life most teenagers only dream about. Jet-setting between trips to Maui and red carpet photo-ops, Ali Lohan’s most recent trip to sunny L.A. to visit her unstable sib has left some fans wondering why the young star of E!’s Living Lohan hasn’t attended school in over a week.

Mom has an explanation for that.

“She is home schooled,” Dina Lohan tells the Daily News. “I’m a firm believer in staying in school but, in the business, it’s gotten difficult for Ali to be in school.”

Dina Lohan was left shamefaced when she and daughters Lindsay, 22, and Ali, 15, were turned away from Hollywood hotspot Villa on March 25, Us Weekly reports.

“Do you know who I am?” Dina, who was rewarded as one of Long Island’s most outstanding moms just last year, protested when the ladies were turned away at the door because of Ali’s age.

“You’re making a huge mistake. Huge!” Lindsay added.
