Following a report in the July 12 issue of The National Enquirer, police in Portland, Oregon are reinvestigating allegations from a masseuse that she was sexually-assaulted by former Vice-President Al Gore.

Probably inevitably, details of the Al and Tipper Gore split have started emerging, and the first revelation is something of a doozy. Star Magazine is reporting that Al Gore was having an affair with Laurie David, the ex of Larry David, probably best known for “Curb Your Enthusiasm”.
The Laurie David – Al Gore affair wasn’t a short lived one either, having gone on for the past two years. Apparently Tipper eventually had enough? This whole thing kind of skeeves me out, because for some reason it seems more personal and sad than most celeb breakups. Forty years is a long time!
