Supermodel, Supermom! It’s a girl for Brazilian supermodel Adriana Lima.
The Victoria’s Secret beauty, 28, and her husband, Memphis Grizzlies guard-forward Marko Jaric, welcomed a daughter in New York City on Sunday, a rep for Lima confirmed to PEOPLE.

Adriana Lima, who is known in the industry as one of the sweetest models, says that she has respect for all of the girls in the business, but that sometimes the girls have major insecurities. “I just think they’re really insecure about themselves sometimes. I know all the girls, but we all work a lot and don’t have time to hang out together. They’re all really nice; I’ve never had a problem with any model.

Adriana has a starring role in the 2008 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, where she will wear the $5million gem-studded Fantasy Bra. The Fantasy Bra is encrusted with 3,575 dazzling black diamonds, 117 certified one-carat round diamonds and 34 rubies, and all most 3,900 other stricking gems.
