The makeup aisles of every pharmacy between California and Kalamazoo are probably still restocking glitter and eyeliner after the video shoot for glamorous Adam Lambert’s new single, “If I Had You,” which premiered today on VH1.com.
“In addition to the fantastic beat and melody, the song’s lyrics are what really stand out to me,” says the American Idol Season 8 runner-up.
Adam is currently on the road on his “Glam Nation Tour.”

The “Gone” crooner is almost unrecognizable underneath layers of 80s-tastic makeup in a new set of Spandau Ballet-inspired snaps taken by NYC-based shutterbug Mike Ruiz. The photog, as Glambert fanatics will recall, shot American Idol runner-up Adam Lambert at the for a similar Hollywood glamour spread that premiered in February.
As long as Lance can avoid a lawsuit from Lambert for rippin’ his steez – we think he should play with this look more often! It’s kinda awesome.
American Idol Season 8 runner-up Adam Lambert will embark on his first solo tour this June, taking the stage to headline 19 US dates alongside fellow Idol 8 rocker Allison Iraheta and guitarist Orianthi.
Lambert, 28, will kick off his “Glam Nation Tour” in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania on June 4, RCA Records and 19 Entertainment have announced.

In news that we’ll have to see to believe, American Idol Season 8 runner-up Adam Lambert is the latest contender joining the race to replace Simon Cowell on the judges’ panel of television’s most-watched talent show.
After wowing Idol producers with his quick wit and biting critiques as a mentor on last week’s Elvis-themed special, we hear the controversial glam rocker is being eyed as a possible replacement for the man the media dubbed Mr. Nasty. In fact, show bosses believe the “For Your Entertainment” hitmaker has just the right mix of moxie to be a dynamic asset to the series.
