Taylor Swift MTV VMA Performance Inspired By Kanye West Stage-Crashing

Grab your popcorn, ‘Crunchers, prepartions are underway for tonight’s 2010 Video Music Awards in Los Angeles and so are Taylor Swift’s plans for the ultimate revenge.

The multi-award-winning country starlet will perform a song she wrote about the highly publicized Kanye West stage-crashing debacle at last year’s VMAs during Sunday’s show, The Associated Press has learned.

Well — this should be good!

Eminem Escapes Fiery Crash, Hat-Tips Marlon Brando In 2010 MTV VMAs Promo

Hip-hop heavyweight Eminem gets a little help from his fans in a spankin’-new promo for the 2010 MTV Music Video Awards!

The ad — which premiered to audiences on Tuesday — features this year’s most nominated male artist escaping from a fiery car crash with the help of a few Slim Shady Stans. The rapper explained that the visual is based on a scene from a classic 1954 flick starring Marlon Brando.

“It’s kind of a take on ‘On the Waterfront.’ Like, loosely. The car is exploding and I’m hurt.”

Eminem will take the stage for a live performance when the 2010 MTV VMAs — hosted by Chelsea Handler — air this Sunday, Sept. 12 @ 9PM EDT. The Recovery star is up for a whopping eight Moonmen at this week’s show.

B.o.B. Justin Bieber MTV Video Music Awards 2010 Performances

This just in: B.o.B. and teen sensation Justin Bieber will perform at the annual MTV Video Music Awards next month, the network announced on Wednesday.

Bieber, who is a shoo-in for the coveted Best New Artist prize, and B.o.B, who received 5 nominations, have been added to the star-studded roster of performers — including Kanye, Drake, and Florence + The Machine — tapped to take the VMA stage as MTV celebrates the year’s best music videos.

We’ve also learned that grungy singing star Ke$ha and Twilight’s Ashley Greene have been added to the list of presenters.

The 2010 MTV Video Music Awards will air live from the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday, Sept. 12 @ 9 PM.
