Sophia Loren Recycles Golden Globes Dress

Italian screen legend Sophia Loren looked as stunning — as always — in a black gown with sheer sleeves and sparkly shoulders at last night’s 67th Annual Golden Globe Awards. Loren, 75, completely stole the show and managed to look as gorgeous as ever when she appeared on stage to present the award in the Best Foreign Language Film Category, which went to German film White Ribbon.

Did you know that the Globes wasn’t the first public appearance for Ms. Loren’s sazzy little number? Committing what most actress would consider the cardinal sin of all fashion faux pases, the Nine actress also wore the design at the 2010 Pirelli Calendar launch party in November. Golden Globes Nominations 2010

Up In The Air Golden Globes

The nominations for the 2010 Golden Globe Awards came out Tuesday morning — and there are some big changes on the horizon for one of Hollywood’s biggest nights honoring the best in television and film. The best-picture category has been doubled from five nominees to 10 for the first time in 66 years. The category is now divided into two categories: best drama and best musical or comedy. The recession-era tale Up in the Air led the morning nominations, earning six nods, among them best drama and acting honors for George Clooney, Vera Farmiga, and Anna Kendrick.

Other drama picks were the space fantasy Avatar, the Iraq War tale The Hurt Locker, the World War II saga Inglourious Basterds, and drama Precious: Based on the Novel `Push’ by Sapphire.

The 67th annual Globes — presented by the Hollywood Foreign Press and hosted by Ricky Gervais — will be handed out Jan. 17.
