The nominations are in for the 38th Annual American Music Awards — and Recovery star Eminem and country hitmaker Lady Antebellum are charging the field with five nods apiece, organizers say.

Justin Bieber is a close third, earning four nominations for the fan-voted prizes, while B.o.B., Katy Perry, Ke$ha, and Usher are each up for three awards. Competing for the evening’s top honor of Artist of the Year are Bieber, Eminem, Ke$ha, Lady Gaga, and Katy Perry.
