Dane Cook’s headline-grabbing joke about Vanessa Hudgens’ latest racy snaps scandal was cut from the taped broadcast of the Teen Choice Awards on FOX on Monday night.
The comedian hit the stage as a guest presenter at the ceremony — filmed in Los Angeles on Sunday night –but garnered boos from the audience after he referenced the second nude photo scandal to hit the former High School Musical star in two years, telling her: “You got to keep your clothes on, girl. Phones are for phone calls, girl.”
Vanessa Hudgens got a lesson in cellphone etiquette from comedian Dane Cook during a humiliating exchange at last night’s 2009 Teen Choice Awards (TCA).
“You got to keep your clothes on, girl!” Dane told V, in a mocking reference to her second nude photo scandal, which hit the Net when a crop of old images of the former High School Musical star leaked last week. He added, “Phones are for phonecalls, girl!”
No word on whether or not Dane’s Vanessa Hudgens diss will be edited out when the annual Teen Choice Awards air tonight at 8PM on FOX.
Twilight heartthrob Robert Pattinson and Transformers actress Megan Fox each took home the coveted “Hottie of the Year” surfboards at the 2009 Teen Choice Awards, taped in Los Angeles on Sunday night.
