A shaking case of stage fright is keeping Paula Abdul from performing live during the Super Bowl XLII Pregame Show. The nervous American Idol judge unveiled her new single “Dance Like There’s No Tomorrow,” in a video segment that was taped before a studio audience Jan. 27. The performance is set to air Feb. 3 during pregame coverage from Glendale, Ariz.

Here’s the Sunsilk 2008 Super Bowl television ad that we told you about early Tuesday. The spot will make it debut on Sunday, starring Shakira, Marilyn Monroe, and the line’s new spokesmodel, Madonna.

Victoria’s Secret will air a sexy thirty second Super Bowl Sunday ad. The lingerie retailer purchased the Super Bowl 2008 spot for about $3 million. In an interview with Advertising Age, Victoria’s Secret marketing chief Ed Razek said: “The Super Bowl kept getting later and later, and now it’s very close to Valentine’s Day, so it’s a perfect opportunity for us.”

Madonna could join Paula Abdul as a performer at next month’s 2008 Super Bowl. Madonna is rumored to be debuting her new single, ‘4 Minutes to Save the World,’ from her upcoming album, which features Justin Timberlake and Timbaland, during football’s biggest night.
