The college beauty from North Carolina briefly chatted about her exciting win and the media storm that erupted following Miss California Carrie Prejean’s controversial remarks at Sunday night’s pageant.
Here we go again! For the second year in a row Miss USA fell flat on her bottom at the Miss Universe pageant. Miss USA Crystle Stewart, of Texas, fell down during the evening gowns segment of the 2008 Miss Universe beauty pageant in Nha Trang, Vietnam on Sunday.
You may recall, Miss USA 2007, Rachel Smith, suffered a similar embarrassing tumble at last year’s Miss Universe competition live from Mexico City.

The Osmonds will host the Miss US. pageant live from Sin City’s Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino next month. The April 11th event will mark the first time Donny Osmond and his pop singing sister Marie Osmond have hosted a primetime show together since 2000.
