
Britney Spears has reportedly been banned from the 50th Anniversary of the Grammy Awards. Recent sightings of the troubled star at Hollywood’s Millennium Dance Studio, where she is said to be rehearsing for her new music video, had sparked speculation that the fallen pop star may have been a performance for the February 10th ceremony. No dice says, the New York Daily News. “Britney is banned from the building,” an NYDN spywitness reports.

Six time 2008 Grammy Award nominee Amy Winehouse has been barred from boozing at the ceremony next month. Bosses fear that she will wreck music’s biggest night if she gets drunk.
“Amy’s been told she must stay booze-free if she’s going to perform at the Grammys. While organizers are desperate for her to perform live, they equally don’t want to see the whole thing ruined if she’s absolutely hammered.”

Beyonce will perform at the 2008 Grammy Awards on February 10th, it was announced on Thursday. Regardless of a possible picket line due to the writers strike, the singer/actress has pledged to attend the event and perform on stage.
