Don’t expect to catch a glimpse of Britney Spears at any of the celebrity-filled 80th Annual Academy Awards afterparties tomorrow night. Similar to the snub the trainwreck received from Grammy organizers earlier this month, Britney has been banned from all pre-and-post Oscar events, according to the Rumor Mill. The pop singer joins Paris Hilton on the list of celebrities who reportedly aren’t wanted anywhere near the Kodak Theater on Sunday.
“While Brit is certainly a name in Hollywood – it’s for all the wrong reasons. She’s a car crash waiting to happen and organizers don’t want to take the risk of her showing up and creating a scene.” Read the rest of this entry »

With the Annual Vanity Fair Oscar Party cancelled, Demi Moore and Madonna are preparing to co-host a Hollywood party on Oscar night. Variety reports that the pair will hold the last minute affair Sunday night at a Westside Hills home with a few hundred people expected to attend.
“Everybody’s on it. It gives the A-list Vanity Fair crowd someplace to go to. It will probably be pared down to where it’s 85 percent talent — not a lot of suits.”

Time for another open letter from KFC! Kentucky Fried Chicken is offering a one year supply of KFC Toasted Wraps and a $5,000 charity donation to the first Academy Awards 2008 winner who stops by the chain’s Hollywood location after Sunday night’s ceremony.
All the winner needs to do to help their favorite charity is be the first to bring in their winning statuette to our restaurant located only a mile from the award ceremony at 1357 Vine St., in Los Angeles.
