Silver screen siren Cate Blanchett is offering up her views on cosmetic surgery, as it relates to the entertainment industry, and how she’s avoided becoming a tabloid magnet in a revealing interview for the February issue of Vanity Fair.

Cate on Whether or Not She Has Gone Under The Knife: “I haven’t done anything, but who knows. [My husband] Andrew [Upton] said he’d divorce me if I did anything.”

“When you’ve had children, your body changes; there’s history to it. I like the evolution of that history; I’m fortunate to be with somebody who likes the evolution of that history. I think it’s important to not eradicate it.”

Cate on Avoiding The Hollywood Social Scene: “I don’t exist in that world. I observe it, but there’s so much else to be thinking about … The world of film can be so noisy, but the other aspects of my life are actually the noisiest parts of my life.”

Read More of Cate’s Interview when Vanity Fair February 2009 arrives on newsstands this week. You can also check the actress out starring alongside Brad Pitt in The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, now in theaters.
