Jon is wrong about PePe LePew and ecstacy!
MDMA (ecstacy) was created prior to WW2 by nazi scientists so troops could march for days. So , you see Jon, the history channel might be better for you then the cartoon network, or in this case an equal dose of both. It's always best to know what you're talking about before opening your blog hole.

Yeah, for the ignoramus who believed that ecstasy was not around when Pepé Le Pew was first created, let us bring something to light- It was once a LEGAL prescription drug use to cure depression, I BELIEVE. Have you not ever heard of MDMA? Look things up before you pretend to bloody know everything, jon.

Drugs are bad. Pretty sad so many have such horrible lives that they need drugs to make themselves feel better about themselves.

Sad, truely sad.

Speed is a term that has described many compounds over the years. Over 40 years ago, when I was 9, I was prescribed little red tablets that were supposed to 'speed me up'. Evidently these did very little as I never finished the bottle and there were fights about what to do with the rest. I was diagnosed with ADD 30 years later, so I think we can narrow down the drug family using factual information.

Captain Caveman and Cocaine - yup, I see that. And I remember Scooby and Shaggy falling out of a smoke filled van... just like Spicoli in "Fast Times at Ridgemont High" (copycats).

Sigh - the days when addiction was denied, but also when usage was clearly implicated. Since the drug experimenting counter culture was heavily encroaching the arts, including artistic media such as animation, is it a surprise that the created characters were portraying characteristics familiar to the artists?

Folks, use a brain cell - the prescription drug industry pushes more pills onto patients than there ever were addicts to illicit drugs. Legal drugs are ... just 'drugs' with a pedigree.

These are pretty awesome, and sound accurate. However for the fools beneath me, speed and meth are COMPLETELY different substances. Speedy is not as readily available as meth. Its so 80's

You are all acting like this dude committed some kind of war crime. It was his attempt to be humorous and even if it failed who gives a shit. It's not like he said, "Here is a humorous article and it is 100% right, don't even try to argue with me because I know every drug that was ever made and I have personally interviewed the creators of the characters and they have agreed with me." Go back to playing Pokemon.
