Country music star Carrie Underwood will return to the stage that launched her platinum-selling singing career when the 2005 American Idol winner performs on the seventh Season Finale of Idol on Wednesday night. Carrie, presently headlining her Carnvial Tour LP, will sing her current chart-topping single, Last Name, live from Hollywood’s Kodak Theater. Carrie is arguably the most successful artist in American Idol history. Her debut album, Some Hearts, was certified 7x-Platinum. Some Hearts is best-selling solo female country debut in RIAA history and the all-time best-selling U.S album by any American Idol contestant.
