Brad Pitt is stopping traffic in Russia.

Siberian police officers have enlisted the help of the Oscar-nominated actor to combat traffic problems in the city of Omsk.

Cardboard cutouts of Brad dressed as a traffic cop are being propped up at intersections around the city in an effort to stop drivers from speeding. The Huffington Post reports.

Believe it or not, the campaign is actually working! Accidents are reportedly down now that drivers are slowing down to gawk at the cardboard cop.

Dmitry Ziryanov, the local officer who came up with the idea, says Brad is “kind of like a colleague for us.”
