Can Casey Aldridge Go To Jail For Underage Sex or Rape?

Since Casey Aldridge is 19 y/o, we wonder if he’s going get into legal trouble and go to jail. In many states it’s illegal for a 19 year old to have sex with a 16 year old (and who knows how long they’ve been having sex!)

In our opinion, Aldridge is in for a bumpy legal road here. However, in some states legal proceedings of this nature require that the offended person’s family to press charges. So chances are that so long as Jamie Lynn Spears is enamored with this guy, Aldridge will squeak by just fine. Yet, if Jamie Lynn wakes up one day and decides to dump his ass and save a whole lot of money…well, for his sake, let’s hope the statute of limitations has run its course.

Three places where Aldridge and Spears were most likely to have had sex were California, Mississippi and Louisiana.

In Louisiana, the age of consensual sexual intercourse is age 17. Jamie Lynn Spears is only 16.
In Mississippi, the age of consensual sexual intercourse is age 16. Jamie Lynn Spears is 16, so they are probably safe (unless they were hooking up before she turned 16)
In California, though, where many people think the sex actually took place, the age of consent is 18. However, there is a three year safety net. So, if Jamie Lynn Spears is 3 years or less younger than Casey Aldridge, they should be fine.

So what do you think? Did Casey Aldridge rape Jamie Lynn Spears? Or is this the kind of sexual behavior that the laws are supposed to let pass?

You got some of the law facts wrong…especially in California….LA’s District Attorneys office is aware of this matter and will prosecute if/when an investigative agency files complaint……There is only a two year window and Casey Aldridge is way over it!!!!!!!!!!!!!
