Calvin Hutton Cher Harassed Nashville Tootsies Orchid Lounge

Some people just can’t take a hint. A thirty-six year old Nashville man has been charged with disorderly conduct and public intoxication after he repeatedly harassed singing legend Cher at the Tootsies Orchid Lounge in the country music capital.
Calvin Hutton Houghland tried to make contact with Cher early Wednesday morning and was asked to leave the club. He complied but returned a short time later and grabbed Cher by the waist.
Not a good move. Cher should have wacked him upside the head with her wig.
According to the police report: “Houghland was escorted out of the establishment. He returned again and was reported to have approached Cher in an aggressive manner. Security blocked his advance. Houghland then called police to report that he was assaulted.
“The police investigation showed that Cher was actually assaulted by Houghland when he grabbed her by the waist. She declined to prosecute. Houghland was repeatedly told to leave the area by officers. He left again, came back, and this time said that he wanted to be arrested. Houghland appeared intoxicated, admitted to drinking three beers, and failed a self-requested field sobriety test.”
Calvin is being held on $3,000 bond.
