Bryce Dallas Howard Replacing Rachelle Lefevre In “Twilight Eclipse”
Bryce Dallas Howard is joining the cast of Twilight.
The Terminator Salvation star has been tapped to bare her fangs in place Rachelle Lefevre as vampire Victoria in the franchise’s upcoming film Eclipse.
A statement issued by Summit Entertainment, which produces The Twilight Saga films based on the books by Stephenie Meyer, reads:
“We are incredibly happy that Bryce has agreed to come into the franchise. Rachelle brought ‘Victoria’ to great screen life and Bryce will bring a new dimension to the character. The franchise is lucky to have such a talented actress as Bryce coming in to fill the role.”
Summit says that scheduling conflicts prevented Lefevre from continuing on as Victoria. Eclipse begins filming in Vancouver this coming August,. The film will be released in theaters on June 30, 2010.
Bryce is the daughter of director Ron Howard.
