The Boss will rock Tampa when Super Bowl XLIII hits the Northern Florida city on February 1. Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band will provide the entertainment during the 2009 Super Bowl Halftime Show, inside sources revealed to the New York Post on Monday.

Bruce Springsteen and the East Street Band have had made an indelible print on the history of music. From his early music – much of which told the stories of average people, thru the Glory Days and with a little Magic, this group has gained a very loyal following among all ages. While much is not what one would call “Top 40″ stuff, it nevertheless attracts a wide audience – mostly of respectable concert-goers.
The energy this man brings to the stage is legendary and I personally would just LOVE to see other “old” rockers who can physically do what this man does.
The most wonderful think about Bruce is that he sings from the heart……….he feels what he is singing and that conveys itself outward to those listening.
I could not be more thrilled – the promoters simply could NOT have put together a better show!
