Bruce Springsteen Barack Obama Rally Cleveland, Ohio

Barack Obama shakes hands with Sam Springsteen as Sam’s dad, rock legend Bruce Springsteen, looks on.
“The Boss” Bruce Springsteen rocked a crowd of nearly 80,000 Barack Obama supporters at a rainy rally outside Cleveland Sunday night.
Springsteen praised Obama’s politics before performing a live version of “The Rising,” a song the Illinois senator usually plays as he walks onstage at campaign events.
“I travel around the world. I occasionally play to big stadiums, crowds like this, just like Senator Obama does. I continue to find out that wherever I go, America remains a repository for people’s hopes, their desires. It remains a house of dreams.”
“Senator Obama, help us rebuild our house, big enough for the dreams for all our citizens,” Bruce told the crowd. “I want my country back. I want my dream back. I want my America back.”
