Bikini-clad Sports Illustrated bombshell Brooklyn Decker has landed another acting role.

Decker will appear alongside Taylor Kitsch (Friday Night Lights) and Alexander Skarsgard (True Blood) in Peter Berg’s Battleship, a cinematic adaptation of Hasbro’s classic naval combat board game.

The plot revolves around a fleet of ships that come into contact with an extraterrestrial force, with Kitsch and Skarsgard playing two naval officer brothers who lead the human race in a war against aliens.

Brooklyn will be playing the love interest of Kitsch, who plays a naval officer in the action flick. Last spring, the leggy blonde filmed scenes for a cameo appearance in the upcoming romantic comedy Just Go With It, which stars Jennifer Aniston, Adam Sandler, and Nicole Kidman.

Battleship opens in theaters May 25, 2012.
