Brooke Mueller, former wife of Charlie Sheen and mother of his twin boys, was released from a three month rehab stint. The thirty four year old entered the Cirque Lodge inpatient program in Sundance, Utah during December 2012 following an arrest for assault and cocaine possession. Steve Honig, Mueller’s rep, confirmed her release by issuing a statement which read “After successfully completing an intensive three month drug and alcohol treatment program, Brooke returned to Los Angeles yesterday and has immediately begun an aggressive outpatient program that includes a sober companion. Brooke is feeling better than ever before, and is committed to continuing treatment for as long as necessary to maintain her total and complete sobriety.”
Mueller will return to court within the next couple of weeks for formal arraignment stemming from the December 2011 incident at the Escobar nightclub in Aspen, Colorado. Police reports indicate she was in possession of cocaine and had assaulted a female patron at the time of her arrest.
