Brooke Hundley Interview On “Good Morning America” [VIDEO]

Brooke Hundley, the ex-mistress of ESPN’s Steve Phillips, turned on the waterworks in an exclusive interview with ABC’s Good Morning America Thursday. The rather — well — plain-looking former production assistant is speaking about why she went Glenn Close in Fatal Attraction on Steve’s wife, Marnie. Brooke — who stalked Steve’s kids through Facebook and showed up uninvited to the family’s home — wants to explain why she sent the oblivious mom a cryptic four-page letter detailing her affair with the former ESPN sports analyst and his private parts.

Hundley told GMA’s Kate Snow that her actions were all “just an avenue to get people to pay attention.”

“The same fear that I heard in [Marni] — and I listened to the 911 call after the fact — was a similar fear to how I felt,” says the 22-year-old, who alleges that Steve used force to keep her trapped in the illicit relationship. As a fellow ESPN employee, Brooke says she was frightened of what Phillips — who was also her boss — could do to her job if she didn’t agree to remain his lover.

“I was in a situation where I felt like if I didn’t do what was asked of me then everything I had worked for, for the past six years, everything I had done to establish myself as a successful media professional, could be gone like that.”

Oh — so now all of a sudden is wasn’t consensual? Yeah, right. What does this woman take us for?

Both Brooke and Steve have both been let go from ESPN in the wake of the scandal. Steve is currently being treated for sex addiction.
