Brooke Hundley Fired From ESPN?
Brooke Hundley, the ESPN production assistant whose affair with baseball analyst Steve Phillips has been splashed across gossip pages for nearly a week, is no longer employed at the cable network. ESPN has revealed that Hundley no longer works for the company, but declined to say whether or not she was fired.
Steve, what were you thinkin’, man? She looks like Rosie?!
Last Wednesday, Phillips admitted to sleeping with the 22-year-old after she began stalking his family. According to police reports, the portly P.A. began contacting Steve’s family after he broke things off with her last July. She is accused of haunting his wife, Marni, over the phone, detailing her sexual relationship with Steve in a graphic letter, and even contacting the Phillips’ 16-year-old son on Facebook.
Marni called police when she found the scorned production assistant in the family’s driveway one afternoon in August. Phillips — former General Manager of the New York Mets lost his job at ESPN on Sunday night. A rep later announced Phillips would be entering a treatment facility.
