Brooke Hogan has issued a public apology to her father Hulk Hogan after a fabricated affidavit the 20 year-old wrote accusing the wrestling ring legend of physical and verbal abuse against her mother Linda was leaked in this week’s editon of The Globe.

Brooke admits signing the legal document, that was set to be used in Linda’s divorce case against Hulk, but the VH1 reality star insists she was blinding by “distress.”

Brooke adds that she made the false abuse claims during a period when she was angry with her father over an affair with one of her friends.

Brooke’s rep says: “Brooke Bollea is distressed at the latest efforts by mother Linda to fracture the family. This time they let leak out an old document that Brooke signed filled with exaggerations and fabrications about father Terry’s behavior during the marriage. The months-old document was signed by Brooke at a time when she was upset with her father.”
